With more than 200 million stray dogs worldwide, volunteers are struggling to make a difference. Rescuing strays, aiding shelters, supporting spaying and neutering campaigns, adopting and fostering provide valuable relief, but the problem will persist, unless mentalities change. The Stray Story is a documentary feature project doing just that: raising awareness on the problem, inspiring people to change their mentality regarding animals, and motivating everyone to take action and make a difference. How? By taking the audience along an inspirational journey through the personal stories of four animal welfare volunteers, located in different countries around the globe. By opening a window to their lives and exposing their strengths, their weaknesses and their moving volunteer work. By shedding light on their struggles, their disappointments, their dark moments, but also on what motivates them, what lights their way and keeps them going. Ultimately, the documentary intends to inspire and
