Where to Watch Sweet Sounds

In the mid-1970s, the Mannes College of Music, on Manhattan's Upper West Side, establishes a preschool program for children whom they identify as musically - or rhythmically - gifted. We see the children in classes -- clapping out the rhythms of their names, singing "The Old Gray Goose," and watching a teenager play the piano. The film does not provide scenes shot over time, so we see no change or progression, nor does it provide information on the outcome of the experiment. The film presents a few moments in time.
