Directed by Mark Robson, the movie starred legendary actor Gary Cooper alongside Barry Jones and Roberta Haynes in pivotal roles.

The storyline revolves around Mr. Morgan, distinctively portrayed by Gary Cooper, who is a lifelong wanderer, Vietnam war veteran, and drifter, having left his former life behind for the tranquil and carefree existence on the resplendent island of Matareva in Samoa.
