Our Stars

Our Stars is a 2015 romantic drama film directed by Josh Boone and based on the novel by John Green, titled "The Fault in Our Stars." The movie follows the story of Hazel Grace Lancaster, a teenage girl who is battling thyroid cancer, and Augustus Waters, a former basketball player who has lost his leg due to osteosarcoma.

The movie does an excellent job of conveying the struggles that people with cancer face, both physically and emotionally. Shailene Woodley gives an outstanding performance as Hazel, bringing both vulnerability and strength to her character. Ansel Elgort also shines as Augustus, portraying his character with humor, sensitivity, and bravery. The chemistry between the two actors is palpable, making their relationship feel genuine and heartfelt.

In addition to the main characters, the supporting cast also delivers strong performances. Laura Dern plays Hazel's mother, who is equally as strong and vulnerable as her daughter. Sam Trammell plays Hazel's father, who is struggling to come to terms with his daughter's illness in his own way.
