Looking for A Home is a 2006 Japanese animated film. Poignancy throughout as Fuki is searching for a new home, with only a knapsack on his back. He finds many interesting things through his journey.

He makes friends with various insects, plants, and certain spirits, called Kami in Japanese. There are some interesting things regarding this film. For instance, the sound effects were performed by human voices. The plot is chronicled almost entirely through drawings and sound effects. Little to no spoken Japanese is employed in the film; with various forms of noise being the means of communication. Realism shown in ways words cannot describe.
