Homo Sapiens 1900

Homo Sapiens 1900 is a documentary film that was released in 1998. The film takes at the eugenics movement, which spun off from the natural selection movement. The eugenics movement aimed to control human evolution with the hope of creating better and healthier humans. The movement results in governmental programs that involved sterilizing unwanted people, and restrictions against whole populations. This eventually results in actions of Nazi Germany. The film interviews historians and scientists in order to understand this movement, and the eventual push to rid the world of the idea of eugenics.
