Hellblock 13

Gunnar Hansen, who is best known for his role as Leatherface in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, is particularly impressive as the warden of cellblock 13. He brings a sense of gravitas and menace to the role, making it clear that this is a man who should not be trifled with.

Debbie Rochon is also fantastic in her role as one of the prisoners. She brings a vulnerability and strength to the character that is both compelling and believable. Jon Miller rounds out the main cast with a solid performance as a convicted murderer who is tormented by his own past.

The special effects in the movie are impressive, particularly given the film's relatively low budget. The gore is plentiful, and the violence is both graphic and disturbing. The makeup and prosthetics are also of a high standard, with the various monsters and creatures looking suitably terrifying.
