Ambitious actor's agent - Felix (Clemens Schick) is at the top of his game in Germany and internationally - representing his hugely successful actress fiancée Rachel (Heike Makatsch). Life, on the surface, could not be better - except for two things; Felix's mother is suffering Alzheimers and his father, Hans, a proud working class man (Hans Michael Rehberg) - struggles to cope. Felix's other discord is the nagging sense that 'something' is missing from his perfect life. Then Felix meets real estate agent Anna (Jana Pallaske) when viewing an apartment he and Rachel are to buy - and in a single moment his world falls apart as he finally understands what is missing from his life; intimacy.
