Kika Georgiou delivers a powerful performance as the boy's mother. Toni Dimitriou shines as the character Socrates, filling the screen with an intriguing variety of emotions that bring his character to life and making the audience root for him from beginning to end. His portrayal of a boy on the cusps of adulthood, dealing with the harsh realities of life while maintaining his childlike enthusiasm and wonder, is masterful.

Another prominent character in this movie is Halloween, a hunting dog, who shares a special bond with Socrates and plays a crucial role in his story. Andreas C. Tselepos does an excellent job as the supportive father, with his character lending depth and layers to the plot. His performance highlights the contrast between harsh realities and the pursuit of happiness in a lower-middle-class family.

The cinematography by Yorgos Rahmatoulin is stunning, capturing the breathtaking scenic beauty of the Cypriot countryside while at the same time using it to reflect the emotional states of its characters.
