Biscuits and Striola is a mystery of sorts regarding an old love relationship damaged by an accident undefined, but structured, into the narration by a sensuously dark voice-over of poems written by M Sarki that relate heavily to the visual action on the screen. A mesmerizing feast for the senses in black and white. Truly an art film, and avant-garde in its presentation, featuring the gifted voice of Natalie Roers.
