Meanwhile, Mac meets a young woman named Abigail (played by Bernice Claire), who is the daughter of a wealthy publisher, and they fall in love. The only problem is that her father doesn't approve of her relationship with an artist, so Mac pretends to be a wealthy art collector to win his approval.
