American Cuisine

American Cuisine is a French feature-length romantic comedy that follows of the career of a dishonorably discharged Naval chef who, down on his luck, takes a position in France beneath a famously ill-tempered master chef. The film satirizes the entire construct of the food industry, from pompous chefs, to stingy food critics, in addition to taking a comedic look at the difficulties of an American adapting to life in Europe. As the film's protagonist, Loren Collins, comes to grip with his situation thanks to the help of a new love, he begins to uncover his own culinary talents.
