Sportscenter is a sports news television show from ESPN featuring highlights and analysis. The show is hosted by two anchors who present the scores and highlights from the day's games with trademark catchphrases, introduce feature stories, and conduct interviews with ESPN analysts who provide commentary on topics in the sports world. The show has several daily segments, such as the Top 10 plays, where the most exciting plays are ranked and shown, the Freeze Frame, showing the best photo from the day's action, and the Ultimate Highlight, setting the best highlights of the week in a music video style. The show has had many famous anchors over the years, including Keith Olbermann, Craig Kilborn, Dan Patrick and Kenny Mayne. Current anchors include Scott Van Pelt, Robert Flores, Steve Levy, Neil Everett, Linda Cohn, Stuart Scott, John Anderson, and Chris Berman. Sportscenter has been broadcast from its premiere at ESPN's Bristol, CN headquarters, and in 2009 a west coast Sportscenter premiered at 10 pm PT from downtown Los Angeles. The show is also famous for the "This is Sportscenter" commercials, which feature famous athletes in humorous situations at the ESPN offices. MORE
