Secret Lives of Women is an American reality television series that debuted in 2005 on the WE: Women’s Entertainment network to a large audience across the United States of America. The series looks into the lives of little-known subcultures of women in the United States, including interviews and unscripted footage to tell their stories. Secret Lives of Women is not afraid to step on toes and take on unpleasant issues. As long as it is an issue that some women face, from eating disorders, to plastic surgery addiction, to careers in the porn industry, to mothering murderers, to drug addictions, and so on, the show is there, looking into the women and the story behind the silence that society has imposed upon the issue.
