Snapped is the Oxygen crime series that profiles cases of women accused of murder. The true crime series looks at mothers, daughters, girlfriends, wives, girlfriends and other women who have been accused of murder. With around 16,000 people murdered each year in the United States, 7% of the killers are women. With motivations like cheating husbands, large insurance settlements, abusive relationships and much more, the cases are varied as are the women accused. Ranging from socialites to working class, the women all had enough and snapped. Now in it's seventh season, the show examines who these women are and what could have driven them to kill, then finding out if they actually committed the crime or were innocent.
