Gordon Ramsay: Cookalong Live is an hour special that aired on FOX in December of 2009 that was hosted by Gordon Ramsay, the British chef also responsible for many other popular cooking shows, including FOX's Hell's Kitchen, FOX's Kitchen Nightmares, and Channel 4's The F Word. The special was aired live on FOX, and was pitched as a way for America to learn recipes for three delicious courses in just one hour. People from around the country were invited to tune in via Skype to cook along with Ramsay on the air, proving to the world watching that anyone could follow his instructions. Guest cooks includes Cedric the Entertainer, Leann Rimes, Alyson Hannigan, and Whoopi Goldberg. The three courses consisted of a Chili Peppers and Tomato appetizer, Angel Hair Pasta and Shrimp, Steak Diane with Sauteed Potatoes and Pears, and a Quick Tiramisu dessert. Although Gordan Ramsay's Cookalong Live was based off of a British cooking show of the same name and basic premise, the American version never went past the one hour special. A Swedish version, titled Tina's Cookalong, began in 2009 with host Tina Norstrom. Gordon Ramsay is partial owner of Gordon Ramsay Holdings Limited, which owns many pubs, such as The Narrow in Limehouse and the Devonshire in Chiswick, catering organizations, and restaurants, such as Gordon Ramsay at The London NYC and Gordon Ramsay's The Maze at the London NYC.MORE
