Fireworks

Fireworks, also known as "Sparks" and "Flame" is a 2000 Korean romantic drama. It is about the perils and pitfalls of four different women who are on a quest to find true love somewhere on the Korean peninsula. The first is Choi Jong Hyuk (Cha In Po). Then there is Kim Ji Hyun (Lee Young Ae), a beautiful writer of TV dramas. Affluent Dr. Lee Kang Wook (Lee Kyung Young) works in the vanity business as plastic surgeon. Finally, there is Dr. Heo Min Kyung (Jo Min Soo), a dermatologist. Together these sometimes friends, sometimes rivals make up the lead cast of Fireworks. All is fair in love and war, and these very eligible Korean women will stop at nothing to achieve their goals, with treachery and revenge poking its head every step of the way. Make room for a few laughs as well. The series ran for 32 episodes. Any fan of romantic comedies or Korean television will find something to like about Fireworks. MORE
