Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, directed by Nicholas Meyer, is the last of the Star Trek feature films to include the full cast of the original Star Trek TV series. When Praxis, a Klingon moon, is destroyed and the Klingon homeworld's ozone layer depleted by the shockwave, the Klingons seek a truce with the United Federation of Planets. The USS Enterprise is sent to escort the Klingon Ambassador, Gorkon (David Warner), to Earth for negotiations. When Gorkon's ship is fired upon and Gorkon murdered, Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and Doctor Leonard McCoy (DeForest Kelley) are accused of the crime and sentenced to hard labor in the Rura Penthe mines.
