After quitting school he roams the streets of downtown Buenos Aires, a melting pot of culture and trade, where both his mother and brother seem to have found places where they belong. Like many immigrant youth, Ariel seeks out his ancestry in order to qualify for a passport. Travel is the key to a greater world, and he believes, a better life. The return of a loved one will soon prove to him that all he believes about his family's history is not true.
