The title 'Boonie Bears: Spring Into Action' primarily signifies the start of a brand-new adventure for the central characters – bears Briar and Bramble, and their colleague Vick. The series dramatises the classic conflict of nature versus technology, with the storyline often focusing on how the animal protagonists try to protect their forest home from the logger, Vick, who wishes to chop the trees down to earn money.

Vick, the supposed antagonist of the series, is more of a reluctant logger, trapped in his job due to a binding contract with his boss. Despite being at odds on numerous occasions, the trio occasionally bands together to overcome common threats, demonstrating themes of unity and friendship.
