Tarung Sarung

Tarung Sarung is a 2020 Indonesian film that combines the allure of action, the heart of drama, and the charm of a love story. Directed by Archie Hekagery and featuring a powerful ensemble cast that includes the likes of Panji Zoni, Yayan Ruhian, and Maizura.

The movie follows the journey of a young, affluent city boy, played by Panji Zoni, named Denis. Yayan Ruhian, renowned in the realm of action movies, is almost unrecognizable, portraying the seasoned mentor with the skills, wisdom, and patience to tame a defiant student. Ruhian imbues his character with an air of calm authority, proving a worthy adversary and mentor for Zoni's character.

Among the sprawling rice fields and lively markets, Denis meets a beautiful and fervent young local woman played by Maizura.
