After living in LA for a decade, new parents June and Evan have made the move back to their scenic coastal hometown in North Carolina to be closer to family. Evan has settled into their new lives comfortably but June still struggles with who she is in this new old world. To make matters worse, June and Evan realize in the chaotic tedium of suburban living they haven't had sex in three months. Resolved to remedy this, they attempt a childless date night out on the town to rekindle the flame and end up becoming more intimate with their new home and its inhabitants than they ever imagined possible.
