Segunda Mano

Segunda Mano is a Filipino horror-thriller movie from 2011, directed by Joyce E. Bernal, and starring Kris Aquino, Dingdong Dantes, and Angelica Panganiban.

The movie starts with Mabel (Kris Aquino), a well-known antique collector, arriving in a new town with her daughter, Helena (Bimby Aquino Yap). Mabel has just separated from her husband and is looking for a fresh start in life. The victim is discovered in a dumpsite, and the only clue to her murder is the same antique dresser that Mabel bought at the auction. Ivan began to suspect Mabel as the owner of the dresser and immediately interrogated her.

Mabel denies any involvement with the murder and becomes curious about the body found in the dumpsite. She realizes the figure behind the mirror is the same young woman who was brutally murdered. Mabel and Ivan join forces to investigate the murder and find the killer.

As they delve deeper into the murder case, more secrets are revealed, and they find out that other people have also bought items from the same auction. The murders seemed to be linked to the items bought from the auction, particularly those that have mirrors. The antique items all have a dark history, and whoever buys them will be haunted by their bloody past.

As Mabel and Ivan dig deeper, they encounter more terrifying experiences, and uncover things that they shouldn't have. The antique dresser alone has many hidden secrets, dark mirrors, and images that seem to point to the killer's true identity.

In the end, Mabel and Ivan work together to unravel the mystery behind the murders and ultimately solve the case.
