Queen & Slim

Queen & Slim is an intense and thought-provoking drama film that was directed by Melina Matsoukas and written by Lena Waithe. This movie revolves around the story of two African-American individuals who are on a date that goes awry and ultimately leads to them becoming fugitives.

Daniel Kaluuya (Get Out) stars as Slim, a mild-mannered man who works as a retail employee. Jodie Turner-Smith (Nightflyers) plays Queen, an attorney with a no-nonsense attitude. Along the way, they meet several people who help them out, including Earl (Bokeem Woodbine), an old friend of Slim's who provides them with shelter and support.
