October Kiss

Ashley Williams stars as Poppy, a carefree and independent woman who has always avoided commitment and responsibility. However, when her sister suddenly passes away, Poppy is put in charge of her two young children, Emma and Wyatt. She struggles at first to adjust to her new role as a guardian, but soon finds that she loves the kids and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure they are happy.

One day, while out picking pumpkins with Emma and Wyatt, Poppy meets Ryan (Sam Jaeger), a handsome and charming single father. Ryan is instantly smitten with Poppy, but she is wary of getting involved with anyone, especially someone with kids.

Despite her reservations, Poppy agrees to help Ryan decorate his house for Halloween, and the two gradually become closer. As Halloween approaches, Emma and Wyatt are excited to go trick-or-treating, but when they are disappointed by the lack of fun and spooky decorations in their neighborhood, Poppy comes up with a plan to give them the perfect Halloween experience.

With the help of Ryan and her friends, Poppy transforms her sister’s old house into a haunted mansion, complete with ghosts, goblins, and plenty of candy. Emma and Wyatt are thrilled with the result, and Poppy realizes that she has never been happier than she is with her family and friends.

As the Halloween festivities come to an end, Poppy must decide whether to go back to her old life or stay and build a new one with Ryan and the kids. October Kiss is a heartwarming and charming romantic comedy that celebrates the importance of family, friendship, and the magic of Halloween.
