Neevevaro

Neevevaro is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language thriller film directed by Harinath and produced by Kona Venkat. The film stars Aadhi, Taapsee Pannu and Ritika Singh in the lead roles, with Vennela Kishore, Shivaji Raja and Thulasi in supporting roles. The film's music was composed by Achu Rajamani, and the cinematography was handled by Sai Sriram. Neevevaro was released on 24 August 2018 to positive critical reviews.

The movie revolves around Kalyan(Aadhi), a visually impaired chef, who meets Anu(Taapsee Pannu) at his best friend's wedding. Kalyan falls deeply in love with Anu and the two start dating. Kalyan’s love for Anu and his determination to prove her innocence, lead him to unravel a web of lies, betrayal and deceit.

Kalyan is shown to be a confident, independent man who doesn't let his disability come in the way of his success. After the wedding, Kalyan and Anu become friends and inevitably fall in love. Their chemistry is natural and their love story is sweet.

Things change when Anu becomes the prime suspect in a murder case. Kalyan, who is convinced of her innocence, sets out to investigate the case himself. Aided by his heightened senses, Kalyan grills the suspects, including Anu's ex-boyfriend and his own best friend, and eventually finds out the shocking truth.

Neevevaro has plenty of suspense and twists and turns to keep the audience engaged. The cinematography is top-notch and the music is soulful. However, the film’s real strength lies in its performances. Aadhi plays his character with sincerity and Taapsee Pannu shines as Anu. Ritika Singh, who has a smaller role, is also impressive.

The movie's central theme is 'seeing beyond vision', which is very true to its genre. The film's screenplay is well-written and tackles the issue of disability and how disability is not an obstacle that can hinder a person’s success. Despite his visual impairment, Kalyan is shown to be one of the most successful chefs in the city.

Overall, Neevevaro is a well-crafted thriller with a good blend of romance and suspense. The film is entertaining and engaging and leaves the viewer guessing till the end. The performances are strong, and the screenplay is tight. Neevevaro makes for a satisfying watch and is a testament to good Telugu cinema.
