Nazis in the Cia

During the Cold War the CIA recruited high-ranking Nazis and Italian Fascists as agents for their operations against leftists and Communists across the globe. The agency infiltrated the top echelons of the German government; it organized torture, death squads and the intelligence services of right-wing juntas in South America; it wielded its influence on attempted coups in Italy. Nazi treasures allegedly lost in World War Two were used to finance these operations. For the first time, the film unveils how ruthlessly the CIA instrumentalized the war criminals of the Third Reich for its purposes.
