MANNY DEAREST

Manny Dearest is a 2017 thriller directed by Chad Krowchuk and starring Ashley Scott, Mitch Ryan, and Woody Jeffreys. The plot revolves around the character of Karen (Ashley Scott), a single mother who hires a live-in nanny called Peyton (Mitch Ryan) to take care of her two children. Things take a dark turn when Karen begins to suspect that Peyton may have ulterior motives - and may even be dangerous.

As Peyton starts to come between Karen and her children, Karen starts to investigate her nanny's past. She discovers that Peyton has countless of fake IDs and that she might not even be her real name. Karen also finds out that Peyton has a history of violence and has been involved in several previous incidents as a nanny. She even discovers that Peyton's last employer died under suspicious circumstances.

As Karen's suspicions grow, Peyton becomes more and more unstable. She begins to cause trouble at Karen's workplace, and she becomes increasingly unstable around the children. Karen tries to confront Peyton, but Peyton is always one step ahead - she has hacked into Karen's phone, bugged her apartment, and even started to impersonate her online.

At this point, Karen realizes that she needs to take drastic action to protect her family. She contacts the police, but they don't take her seriously. She also tries to fire Peyton, but this only makes things worse. The tension builds and builds until a shocking conclusion that will have viewers on the edge of their seats.

Manny Dearest is a tense and thrilling movie that will keep viewers guessing until the very end. The film is anchored by terrific performances from Scott, Ryan, and Jeffreys, who all deliver convincing and nuanced performances. Krowchuk's direction is also excellent, creating a sense of unease and suspense that will have viewers on the edge of their seats. Overall, Manny Dearest is an enjoyable and gripping thriller that will appeal to fans of the genre.
