Le Bateau sur l'herbe

Le Bateau sur l'herbe is a dramatic French film from 1971. Olivier is a young, moneyed individual who spends his free time working on a boat with David, a poor fisherman whom has been friends with Olivier since the two were kids. While things seem to go right for the men as they work on their sea-craft, the scheming Eleonore inserts herself into Olivier's life. Eleonore is an attractive woman who craves the attention that Olivier gives to David and does her best to sabotage the strong friendship enjoyed by the men, by any means necessary and available to her.
