Haunted by the indelible mark of loss and silent grief, sad-eyed MarÑa and her taciturn husband, Ingvar, seek solace in back-breaking work and the demanding schedule at their sheep farm in the remote, harsh, wind-swept landscapes of mountainous Iceland.
