Killing Hasselhoff is a 2017 comedy movie that is directed by Darren Grant and stars Ken Jeong, Jim Jefferies, and Colton Dunn. The film is centered around Chris, a struggling nightclub owner who is in financial trouble and decides to enter a celebrity death pool with his friends to try and win some money. Chris picks David Hasselhoff as his celebrity of choice, but when he realizes he has a good chance of winning the pool, he becomes obsessed with making sure Hasselhoff dies before the deadline.

The movie kicks off with Chris (played by Ken Jeong) introducing his club, L.A.’s Vibe, which is struggling to stay afloat. He’s losing his top bands, and a loan shark is breathing down his neck. To win some quick cash, Chris and his friends run an underground celebrity death pool, picking David Hasselhoff as their celebrity of choice. But when Chris accidentally kills his picks, he finds himself in a race against time to kill “The Hoff” himself and win the thing.

At the beginning of the movie, Chris is having the worst day imaginable- his nightclub is in the red, and he’s behind on payments with a loan shark who has just given him a week to pay. On top of that, Chris is going through a divorce and is being sued by his ex-wife for spousal support. It seems like things couldn't get any worse, but Chris proves us wrong. After betting on several different celebrities to die, Chris finally settles on Hasselhoff as his pick. But when all of his other celebrity picks start dying off, leaving Hasselhoff as the clear front-runner, Chris starts to panic.

His only solution? To kill Hasselhoff himself, in a desperate attempt to win the death pool and pay off his debts. That's where the bulk of the movie takes place, as Chris and his friends attempt to kill the former Baywatch star in a series of absurd and hilarious ways.

Along the way, Chris enlists the help of several of his friends, including Andy (Jim Jefferies), a loud-mouthed, Australian DJ who constantly gives him terrible advice, and Fish (Colton Dunn), a bumbling security guard who is trying to save his own job by helping Chris with his harebrained scheme. The trio faces numerous obstacles and setbacks as they try to take out Hasselhoff, including getting chased by a group of angry Hasselhoff fans, crashing a boat into Hasselhoff's house, and even running afoul of a gang of Mexican drug dealers.

The film is pretty much non-stop laughs from beginning to end, with Jeong delivering a fantastic performance as the hapless Chris. Jim Jefferies is also great as Andy, delivering some of the film's funniest lines, while Colton Dunn rounds out the trio with his endearingly goofy character Fish. The supporting cast is also hilarious, with Ron Funches and Jon Lovitz both delivering standout performances as Chris' friends.

One of the film's strengths is its willingness to be completely over-the-top and absurd, never taking itself too seriously. The various assassination attempts on Hasselhoff are so ridiculous and over-the-top that they're impossible not to laugh at, and the film is filled with hilarious one-liners and gags that keep the audience constantly entertained.

While it might not be the most groundbreaking or thought-provoking film out there, Killing Hasselhoff is a hilarious and entertaining comedy that's guaranteed to leave you laughing. With great performances from its cast and some truly ridiculous set pieces, it's a film that's well worth checking out if you're in need of a good laugh.
