Their conventional life turns upside down when they take up the responsibility of raising this unique bird-girl. The narrative gives an insight into the life of this pair as they stride through the arcs of wonder, fear, compromise, and love to tend to Viegeltje.

An essential portrayal by Diederik Ebbinge as the ambitious and curious scientist Snit, provides some interesting turns to the plot.
