Iddaru Ammailu

Iddaru Ammailu is a Telugu romantic drama film released in 1972. Directed by Master Venu, the movie stars Vanisri, Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, and S.V. Ranga Rao in lead roles. Set in a rural backdrop, Iddaru Ammailu revolves around the lives of two sisters and their relationships with two men.

Lalita also gets into frequent arguments with Raghupathi, leading to misunderstandings and clashes between them.

As the story progresses, circumstances lead to Neelakantha Sastry fixing Lalita's marriage with Raghupathi, unaware of the love and hatred that exists between the two. Raghupathi, caught in a dilemma, decides to accept the proposal out of respect for his future father-in-law. On the other hand, Sridevi, who is well aware of her sister's temperament, sacrifices her love for Raghupathi to ensure Lalita's happiness.

The plot takes an interesting turn when Sridevi's selfless act of sacrificing her love is revealed to Lalita. Understanding her sister's sacrifice, a change of heart occurs in Lalita, and she decides to unite Raghupathi and Sridevi.
