While Yudi's professional life is drastically threatening to go off the cliff, his tangled personal life is equally baffling.

Saif Ali Khan’s character Yudi is grappling with emotional confusion resulting from past romantic encounters, including a sophisticated medical professional - Divya, a subtle role played by Preity Zinta, and the indie-chic stylist - Vishaka, elegantly portrayed by Kalki Koechlin. Vishaka is deeply infatuated with Yudi and is consistently searching for ways to move their relationship up a notch - but Yudi, being the commitment-phobic man that he is, does his best to sneak his way out.

When Yudi's success wanes and his books no longer sell well, he is tasked with writing for Bollywood superstar Armaan, played by Govinda.
