Future Hunters

Future Hunters is an action-packed adventure movie from 1988 starring Robert Patrick, Linda Carol, and Ed Crick. The movie begins with a group of treasure hunters who find a mysterious artifact in a cave in the Philippines. The artifact leads them on a wild adventure across different time periods and continents as they race to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.

In the future, they discover that the artifact they found is actually a key that can unlock a powerful weapon capable of destroying the world. They also learn that Vargas is still alive and has teamed up with a band of neo-Nazis who are trying to get their hands on the weapon.

Slade, Linda, and Tommy team up with Kamp and her group to try to stop Vargas and the Nazis from getting the weapon. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and challenges, including fighting off hordes of mutants and navigating a maze-like underground bunker.

Despite its cheesy special effects and over-the-top action sequences, Future Hunters is an entertaining and enjoyable movie. The pacing is brisk, and the various time periods and locations keep things interesting. The performances are generally solid, with Robert Patrick and Linda Carol making a charismatic duo.

One of the highlights of the movie is its campy sense of humor. There are several scenes that are intentionally funny, such as when Tommy accidentally knocks himself out with a stun gun or when Slade tries to convince a group of Vikings that he is a god.
