Five Deadly Venoms

Five Deadly Venoms is a martial arts movie about five different fighting techniques that each warrior possess. The Poison Clan's last student has been taught and the master is dying. He is worried that the fighting techniques are being used for evil purposes. He sends Yang Tieh(Chaing Sheng)to find his old friend, Mr. Yuen and warn him. that he may be in danger. Yang must also track down the warriors and determine if he can join them and if they are using their fighting styles for good.

Each warrior is known by their number or animal and their identities are hidden. They are the Centipede, Snake, Scorpion, Lizard, and Toad. The teacher did not train them all at once, but throughout his life. The teacher has taught Yang a combination of all five styles. Yang starts his journey to a town where the warriors were last seen.

Meanwhile, Mr. Yuen heads home to discover his family tied up by Snake and Centipede. Leaving no witnesses behind, they kill the family without getting any information about the fortune. Later, Scorpion gets to the house, grabs the candle that Yuen is grasping and discovers a piece of paper inside, and leaves.

A police investigation begins to find out who murdered the family. Yang finds a witness, unfortunately he is an alcoholic. He tells the police he seen who the killers are. Some of the officers feel that the Poison clan may be the ones that have committed this crime.

The town drunk describes one man that sounds like Mr. Hung, an well known man in the town. Captain Ma knows who he is, but questions the man's description. The other man was simply known as Tian. The police go to find Tian and catch him, but they can not. Yang realizes that he is Centipede. Another man, Li steps forward to catch Tian. Tian strikes his arm without any pain. Li is Toad.

Li is brought into court for the murders. He is convicted. When the police attempt to place him in the Iron Maiden, he fights them. Mr. Hung comes out of nowhere and fights Li. Li is hit by darts and is weakened. The Iron Maiden finishes him off. Mr. Hung is Snake and the darts were from Scorpion.

Officer Ho is enraged when he hears of the conviction of Li. He feels that Li did not kill the family. Yang befriends him and reveals that he knows that the officer is Lizard. Yang decides that Lizard is a good guy and tells him the secrets of the other styles. They both decide that it time to fight and kill the other animals.

They head off to Mr. Hung's mansion. Captain Ma happens to be heading there and join them. Tian is also at the mansion. A fight begins with the four of them as Captain Ma stands back. Tian is hurt and Mr. Hung yells at Captain Ma to help him. He is revealed as Scorpion. The fighting continues until everyone except for Lizard and Yang are dead. Yang finds the map and they decide to go find the fortune.
