Earthworm Tractors

Joe E. Brown stars as Alexander Botts, a salesman for the Earthworm Tractor Company who is assigned to sell tractors to a lumber company in a small southern town. However, Botts quickly learns that the people of the town are skeptical of new technologies and are resistant to change.

Undeterred, Botts sets out to prove the value of his tractors by demonstrating their capabilities in various ways, from plowing fields to hauling logs. Along the way, he meets and falls in love with the daughter of the lumber company's owner, played by June Travis.
