Dangerous Beauty

In 16th century Venice, a young woman named Veronica Franco (played by Catherine McCormack) is determined to live life on her own terms despite the societal constraints placed upon her as a woman. The film Dangerous Beauty follows Veronica as she navigates the world of courtesans, using her intelligence, wit, and beauty to secure her place in society.
