Black Site Delta

Black Site Delta is a 2017 action thriller movie starring Cam Gigandet, Sherri Eakin, and Teri Reeves. The film is directed by Jesse Gustafson and written by Guy Stevenson. The story revolves around a group of prisoners who are held captive in a top-secret military facility known as Black Site Delta.

The plot kicks off with Jake (Cam Gigandet), a military veteran who finds himself in prison after a failed mission. Meanwhile, a terrorist group attacks a government facility and takes hostages. The government decides to use the prisoners at Black Site Delta as an expendable tactical unit to infiltrate the facility and rescue the hostages. Jake is offered the chance to participate in the mission, and he accepts in the hopes that this is his shot at redemption.

The prisoners' mission is quite complicated as they are dealing with a heavily fortified facility protected by armed terrorists. To succeed, they must band together and use their combative skills to overcome their differences and work as a team. The team is lead by Briggs (Benjamin Charles Watson), a tough but fair ex-military man, and Nora (Sherri Eakin), a foxy hacker who has all the tricks up her sleeves.

The prisoners are faced with many obstacles and challenges, and as they progress closer towards their objective, they realize that not everything is as it seems. The hostages are not who they thought they were, and the terrorists have a surprising agenda that could affect the whole country. The team has to work together to not only rescue the hostages but to stop the terrorists from carrying out their plan.

One of the exciting aspects of the movie is the fight scenes. The fight choreography is impressive, and the actors execute the moves flawlessly. The weapon handling skills of some of the actors including Gigandet and Watson is commendable. They are convincing as tough soldiers with years of experience in tactical combat.

Aside from the fighting, the film explores the relationship between the prisoners. They come from different backgrounds and have different skill sets, and at first, they don't get along. But as they are forced to rely on each other to survive, they begin to respect each other, and the bond grows stronger. It is a classic trope in action movies, but it is executed well in Black Site Delta.

The pacing of the movie is superb. There is never a dull moment, and the story moves along at a brisk pace. The music and sound effects add to the overall excitement of the movie. There are moments of tension where the audience is on the edge of their seat, and there are moments of humor which balance out the tone of the film.

In terms of acting, Cam Gigandet puts on an impressive performance as Jake. He is convincing as a tough military veteran with a troubled past. Sherri Eakin does a fantastic job as Nora, portraying her character as both tough and intelligent. Teri Reeves, who plays a government agent, doesn't have as much screen time as the others, but her character is essential to the plot.

Overall, Black Site Delta is an action-packed movie that will satisfy fans of the genre. The fight scenes are impressive, the pacing is excellent, and the story is compelling. The film is not without its flaws, but it is still an entertaining ride that action movie fans will enjoy.
