The Horseshoe Crab has existed for almost half a billion years. It is a living fossil that pre-dates the dinosaurs. These monstrous alien-like organisms are admired by scientists all over the world for their strange and unique blue blood. We go on a journey along the eastern US seaboard to discover these creatures and their value, not only to nature, but to human existence.
