Akasa Veedhilo

Akasa Veedhilo is an aviation drama film that was released in 2001. In English, the meaning of the film is translated to mean "In the streets of the sky".

The film focuses on two friends who are pilots, Chandu and Suri. Indu and Padma are another pair that are also great friends. Chandu gets married to Indu, while Suri and Padma also get married. Padmu and Indu are expecting a child, but a terrible accident causes harm to her expectant child. Padma has twins, Ram and Lakshman.

Lakshman ends up facing a terrible disease that ultimately is a threat to his life. Indu decides to flee, but decides to return home to her husband. The flight back isn't so easy, however, as Pakistani militants hijack the flight.
