Max and Ruby

Max and Ruby is an animated children’s TV series based on children’s author Rosemary Wells’s Max and Ruby series that focuses on the stories and tales of two sibling bunnies. Max is a spirited and headstrong three-year-old bunny who tests her older seven-year-old sister Ruby’s patience, which thankfully the intelligent and smart bunny seems to have in spades. Max typically says only one word in each focused snippet, repeated in the same way that a high-energy three-year-old might, and causes some havoc in the life of his older sister. Max and Ruby offers self-contained snippets of their daily lives, highlighting though the universal world of a sibling relationship as the two play games, aggravate, and love each other. Occasionally their world widens to introduce some of Max and Ruby’s friends, including Louise, Valarie, Martha, and Froggy. Like many other children shows, Max and Ruby’s parents are never seen though Grandma often takes part in their little adventures, offering up her attic full of clothes for dress-up time. MORE
