Green Porno is an original Sundance Channel short film collection created and performed by acclaimed actress Isabella Rossellini (Blue Velvet). The shorts take a comical and theatrical approach to teach the mating habits of many creatures - from bugs to octopuses - of the Earth. Each short is roughly two minutes long and always features Rossellini creatively costumed as the creature of topic and performing the act of their mating ritual with low budget backgrounds, puppets and props, while narrating the experience in the first person. Though some would deem the show inappropriate for children, it has a children's theater quality to it and a very simple way of explaining the various natural methods of reproduction in this world. Rossellini's performance is both entertainingly funny and weird, while at times quite dramatic, as many creatures (mostly insects) die after mating. Some episodes include bees, praying mantises, Bed Bugs, Ducks, Snakes, worms, snails and houseflies. MORE
