Fruits Basket is a Japanese anime television series originally aired in 2001 and based on a manga of the same name. The plot follows a high school student named Tohru Honda who has lost her parents in a car accident and is living on her own in a tent. Everything is going well for her until her classmate Yuki Sohma moves into her tent with her family. On top of her new tent-mates the Sohma's bring with them a family curse. The curse is that when any member of the family is stressed or hugged by a member of the opposite sex, they turn into an animal representative of the signs of the Zodiac. This leads Tohru to have to deal with each different Zodiac transformation and each personality that comes with it.MORE
