Animalia

Animalia is an animated children TV series based on a book of the same name by Graeme Base, which follows the adventures and tales of two eleven-year-olds, Alex and Zoe, as they fall into the world of Animalia, a world they had only known of through a book at their local library. Alex is the more level headed of the two young humans but he still maintains an excited sense of adventure as he utilizes his special ability to see long-forgotten transportation portals in Animalia. Zoe is smart and spunky who can be a little careless and while she wants to return to the human world, she learns how to call the animals using nature speak. It seems that their appearance is not the only strange thing happening in Animalia as spores pop up all over with unique and sometimes catastrophic results. Watch Alex and Zoe work with their new animal friends, the fun-loving green gorilla G'Bubu, egotistical iguana Iggy, charismatic and intelligent lion Livingstone, and the kind black rhino named Reenie.
