Who's That Knocking at My Door? is a 1968 drama, directed by Martin Scorsese, that chronicles the prejudices one man confronts when he realizes his dream girl is not all that she is made out to be. J.R. (Harvey Keitel) is a typical, Catholic young man in New York to begin the film, enjoying nights out with his blue-collar friends and games which end in looking for 'broads'. His world is changed forever however, when he comes across a waspy beauty, simply known in the film as The Girl (Zina Bethune). Her sophistication and class sets her apart from his friends and other lovers he has met, and he decides not to sleep with her in an effort not to 'soil' her.
