Shadows in the Sun

Shadows in the Sun follows the story of a young man, Jeremy (Joshua Jackson), who works for an English publishing house. Jeremy wants to write a great novel, but his fear and trepidation prevent him from ever wholly committing to the work. Ironically, the publishing house sends him to Tuscany to seek out the famous and reclusive writer, Weldon Parish (Harvey Keitel). Jeremy is one of his biggest fans and jumps at the chance. The ensuing relationship proves to be a perfect pairing. Parish tries to open Jeremy's heart and mind to the world so that he can actually start writing. Jeremy pushes back in order to motivate Parish to begin capturing his own life in print again. In the midst of it all, Jeremy starts to fall for Parish's daughter, Isabella (Claire Forlani). The film is a story of passion, romance, and humor as this intergenerational odd couple become the best influences upon one another that either could have asked for. MORE [EDIT]
