So I Married An Axe Murderer is a comedy film about Charlie (Mike Myers), an avant-garde poet who is scared of commitment, who falls in love and marries Harriet (Nancy Travis), who his friend thinks might be an axe murderer. Charlies best friend keeps pointing out shocking similiarities between his bride-to-be and the infamous murderer who just so happens to be still at large. Harriet works at a butcher shop, and the killer is famous for butchering her husbands on the honeymoon night. Myers also played Charlie's Scottish father, Stuart, and the film had an appearance from the legendary Phil Hartman.[EDIT]
