The Other End of the Line

The Other End of the Line is a romantic comedy film that centers around a call center operator named Priya (played by Shriya Saran) who works in Mumbai, India for Lextel, a credit card company. One day, she receives a call from a customer named Granger Woodruff (played by Jesse Metcalfe) who is calling to dispute a charge on his credit card. As the call progresses, Priya becomes intrigued by Granger and decides to take a risk by pretending to be an American girl named Jennifer David.

After the call, Priya reveals to her friends that she spoke to Granger and pretended to be someone else. The next day, Granger calls back and orders flowers for Jennifer, not knowing that Priya is the one on the other end of the line. Priya, wanting to reveal the truth, decides to fly to San Francisco and surprise Granger in person.

When Priya arrives, things don't go as expected. She realizes that Granger is not the person she thought he was and she struggles to find the right time to reveal her true identity. Meanwhile, Granger is dealing with his own problems, including a complicated relationship with his girlfriend, Charlie (played by Sara Foster), and pressure from his family to settle down and take over the family business.
