Both films are considered to be within the "wire fu" genre of martial arts action films, so called for the extremely stylized violence, most typically via the implementation of invisible wires. The plot follows the stoic and dangerous, Khamlao, an undercover agent for the country of Wongnaileum. He is sent on a special mission by his superiors to find a group of dangerous terrorists. To accomplish this task he joins a record company that the terrorists are using as a front and gets sucked into a seedy world of guns and death in Bangkok.
